Welcome to the Vermont State Ethics Commission.  The Commission is responsible for accepting, reviewing, and tracking complaints of governmental conduct.  If a complaint alleges a violation of governmental conduct regulated by law, of the Department of Human Resources Code of Ethics, or of the State’s campaign finance law set forth in 17 V.S.A. chapter 61, the Commission will refer the complaint to the appropriate state agency.

Complaints must be in writing and must include the identity of the person filing the complaint.

The Vermont State Ethics Commission adopted the State Code of Ethics: General Principles of Governmental Ethical Conduct on June 6, 2018.
